Well feels like some sort of rubber but makes lifting the kettle easy and handle doesn't get hot. Handle same colour as base of kettle. **Q: Is this kettle fitted with a BS plug, some have said not.** A: The one we were sent had a continental style plug. Would have needed an adapter. Shame as we loved it but it had to go back x **Q: Am i able to order a replacement filter? I have snapped mine trying to clean it** A: Possibly, call the Supplier directly on 01473 271272 **Q: Why is doesn’t say anything about materials made of?? I’ve read sime comments claiming that is entirely plastic with some small metallic parts glued** A: I’ve had mine for about 10 days with no problems.
