Last time I ordered a hat that looked like this it wasn't.** A: No this hat is not distressed.Sorry **Q: Does the metal buckle rust?** A: Had for a few months and don’t notice any rust **Q: Is the top front firm or flimsy?** A: The bill of the hat is firm, but the entire hat that actually touches your head is flimsy but the fabric is kinda like jeans so its good quality fabric not thin cheap’o stuff.
