The top is secured to the polyfill by about dozen 2" long stitch lines which are not noticable but not rich looking either.There are issues which dropped my rating. The comforter underside is very strange material, it collects every piece of lint, feathers and pet hair. I'm not a clean freak nor one who never vaccums but the underside looks awful. But I have to say, the material is not scratchy. The accessories are cheaply made and very plain. The bedskirt is thin, the shams have the same underside as the comforter and no trim. Negatives aside, I kept the set as the pattern and colors were perfect.
