While you are correct in a proportional sense, unfortunately, the pandemic had an impact in the form factor (10 feet or 50 feet) of rolls produced. Rosco was one of the companies that had to close for periods of time, and in the times that they were open, they found it most efficient to produce the larger runs of 50 feet rolls. As a result, the savings were translated to the larger roll size. Another factor is a large percentage of costs goes towards ground or air logistics and shipping to end consumers.
