Review: Wet the filter before use and it'll stick and not fallout. - Firstly, people say they're a bit loose, not a perfect fit. Although this is true, if you wet the filter first just like as if it were paper, you'll find not only does the filter stick, it also helps when creating an airtight seal. The way I use my Aeropress is in the inverted position. I add the coffee grind, pour in the hot water, stir, and then place the filter cap and expel the air by pushing down until I feel resistance. With the air expelled I turn the right way up and you'll find it doesn't leak at all which means you can allow a little bit more brewing time before you push down. Once I have pushed all the coffee out, I pull the plunger back a little bit so the filter remains within the filter cap. The rest you already know. To be honest, this review should be about the filters themselves, and I would say they are of great quality. I was pretty much impressed that although they are not paper filters, like paper filters the sediment is left behind with the coffee cake, there is no sediment at the end of your coffee enjoyment. I am extremely impressed with these steel filters. Not only do they work, they're going to save me an awful lot of money while at the same time producing excellent tasting coffee, without the sediment. Review: Highly recommended - Great for your aero press. Still using mine 2 years later. Think of all the paper that saves. Fits perfectly allows for smooth functional water flow ## Features - PERFECT DESIGN - The DISC is designed to fit the Aerobie AeroPress coffee maker perfectly. Is the filter disc edged with rubber?** A: No it is not edged with rubber **Q: Is the mesh made from aluminium?** A: Not 100% sure but I would imagine that it is fine stainless steel wire - the disc says it is stainless steel, and I just assume the mesh will be too. **Q: Can i use these with the aeropress go travel?** A: Yes of course, they’re portable and easy to pack away in a small bag. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Wet the filter before use and it'll stick and not fallout. *by B***S on 6 November 2020* Firstly, people say they're a bit loose, not a perfect fit. Still using mine 2 years later. Think of all the paper that saves. Fits perfectly allows for smooth functional water flow ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great little filters *by S***C on 5 May 2024* I've used these filters a lot, so certainly got my money's worth. They fit well in my aeropress and filter the coffee perfectly. They're also easy to clean. Make sure you don't pop it in the bin/compost along with your used coffee grinds. It's great to have reusable filters, so I don't have to keep buying the paper ones, or run out. Happy with my purchase. ## Frequently Bought Together - KOFFI DISC MESH & FINE - Reusable Stainless Steel Metal Filters - for use with AeroPress Coffee Maker - AeroPress Coffee and Espresso Maker - Quickly Makes Delicious Coffee Without Bitterness - 1 to 3 Cups Per Pressing,Black - AeroPress Filter Papers, Pack of 350, White --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.us/products/101257495-koffi-disc-mesh-and-fine-reusable-stainless-steel-metal-filters](https://www.desertcart.us/products/101257495-koffi-disc-mesh-and-fine-reusable-stainless-steel-metal-filters) --- *Product available on Desertcart United States of America* *Store origin: US* *Last updated: 2026-10-18*
