Review: Nutty smell and easily melts - I've just started making balms and have been wanting to make sure they are completely organic. This cuts and melts easily. There is a nutty smell to it i find pleasant. I have read on other reviews that it smells awful but this is not an awful odor. Being that I'm starting out I am very pleased and forsee purchasing this product again! I am editing to add that I am so happy with this product that I have ordered multiple times!!
Review: Rancid?? - I’ve used this brand many times. I’ve never had an issue with it. This time I purchased it and placed in a cool dry area in my home because i still had some left from my other batch. Once it was finished about 2 months later, I opened the new one and the rancid smell blew me away. At first I thought they changed something about the product. Since it was past the return date desertcart would not accept it back. Such a shame. I ended up throwing it away. This product is not cheap! I’ve been hesitant to order again

Smooth and creamy texture. Melts and blends smoothly when mixed with coconut oil and beeswax for a lovey lotion bar. I have never used Shea butter before so I don’t know if the smell is typical for this product. It is a little smelly. But I added a little fragrance oil and it worked out.
