Review: simple functional - works for coax to ethernet installations - a simple functional item. I am using one on my ethernet to coax installation and the coax to ethernet adapter is 12 meters away. The insertion loss (as per the spec) is not enough to degrade the signal, so on a similar installation that would not be an issue (I can only assume that in a TV/SAT installation there will be no issue, but I am not using it for that) it is small , robust , good quality and the threading is good, the connectors are not having any trouble and do not come loose after a while. great value for money

**Q: Can this be used to make my tv into a twin tuner? ie record tv while watching another.**
A: No, it can't.

**Q: Does this boost the signal or just split it?**
A: Rather than boosting the signal, you get signal degradation due to the split. Any decent branded product should give specs such as a loss of around 3.5 to 4dB on a reasonable product.

**Q: Can you use this to connect a single feed to twin feed Humax box ?**
A: Simple answer is yes, that is exactly what I used it for!! You will need a total of three appropriate leads - your original, the one which comes with this kit, and one more. Since the kits are so inexpensive, I bought 2 kits purely to get the second good quality lead.

**Q: I have ordered this item but haven't received a splitter, only a cable. Am I missing something here?**
A: I am very surprised by that - the splitter is quite tiny, about the size of a matchbox, so I politely suggest you recheck the packaging - I bought 2 kits, and both were complete, exactly as shown.

Works perfectly as a splitter connecting to the wall for satelitte TV and goCoax MOCA 2.5 through coax. No noticeably change in quality for TV signal or change in latency or download speed for MOCA connection. Coaxial cable also very high quality, works perfectly.
