Finished, yet vintage/classic/rugged looking! Pens fit perfectly into the pen loop, but BE ADVISED, the clip is extraordinarily tight!! I had to insert a few implements (screwdrivers, etc.) to get it wedged open enough to slide it over a leather notebook cover. NO WAY could I do this with my fingers or by pushing, alone. Do not worry about this falling off!! Again, they're beautiful and functional! ### ⭐ Not leather. *by C***O on December 16, 2017* The leather is not genuine leather which is so disappointing for a retro style pen clip. The metal part color is not good looking too. Each of the pair looks different. ### ⭐⭐⭐ Needed modification *by T***Y on November 6, 2018* Once I modified them they worked ok. The problem with them was when you tried to take the pen out the clip would remove itself from the notebook. So I clamped down the clip so it had a tighter hold on my notebook.
