Review: Great sealing bag, highly impressed with the quality. - these vacuum sealer bags are excellent. I've used them for a couple years now and they work amazingly well. I played with the adjustments on my chamber vac to get them to work at the timing and I cannot be happier. the edges are well stamped and sealed, the bags are good thickness and the quality is perfect. I have zero cons to report, i have no issues with the bags sealing unless I make it an issue by getting the sealing side wet by loading them incorrectly or in a way that spreads "juice" where i am sealing it, and that interferes the the sealing times. That's on me though, not the bag. I highly recommend this bag for chamber sealers, i have a counter top sealer but have not tried them on those machines.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: Anyone else notice some of the seals failing in the freezer after a while?  I have several that looked good at Sealing and then lost the seal after .**
A: Seems to be inherent within the product.  Every brand that I have used does this.  I to double seal and try not to get any moisture in the seal.  One thing to remember is when frozen and moved around in freezer the bag is easily damaged.  I found this especially true when freezing items with sharp bones like porterhouse.  The bone hit hard surface and cuts through the bag.

**Q: Do they have a notch for easy tear?**
A: Purchased 09/25/2020 (USA).  The 200-pack 8" x 12" bags do have an "easy-tear" notch, located, on one side, about 2 inches from the FACTORY-SEALED end (not the open end that you manually seal).  The (semi-circular) notch does make it very very easy to tear, especially once you clear the factory-sealed edge.  As others have noted, this bag is actually very difficult to tear, but the notch makes it very easy.  Note: this notch makes me suspect that if there's any slight tear, rip or cut damage to any portion of the factory-sealed edge, that edge is going to keep ripping open with any handling.

**Q: How do these compare quality wise to the food saver brand? and will they work with the food saver machine?**

Great bags. Great price. Bags are a little longer than other quart bags making sealing a breeze. Very thick with no punctures. Price and quality are better than what i can purchase locally. On my second order. Perfect size for 2lbs of ground meat.
