This makes it easy to travel with them and also easy to make small batches (I use 6 bags to 4 cups in a small pitcher.) The only minor issue I had at first was sweetening this tea. While it would be great for those who prefer unsweetened, I do like mine slightly sweet but do not use artificial sweeteners. Really, no one should use those in a good tea because they can alter the flavor. This is tricky when cold brewing since sugar doesn't dissolve easily, but there is a simple solution. I like to use a small amount of real sugar and dissolve it with a few tablespoons of very hot water, then I add my cold water & brew. At home I make my own batch of simple syrup (same concept - 1/2c sugar to 1/2c hot water) to have some liquid sweetener on hand.
